info29n.com
When the snap election was announced, I saw there was no clear, neutral place to compare the parties. So I built one: a site that brings together what each party proposes on the issues voters care about most, how it voted on the key laws of the term and which court cases involve its officials, with a link to the source for every data point. No ads, I pay for it myself, and it never asks for or recommends a vote.
- Product. I defined what a voter needs: manifestos by topic (housing, economy, immigration… prioritised using CIS polling), key votes, court cases with their legal status, and how to vote.
- Sourced data. Every measure, vote and case links to its origin. Cases are labelled with fixed criteria: under investigation, trial held, non-final ruling, final ruling or Supreme Court ruling.
- Automation. Everything lives in a JSON file on GitHub served through a CDN, so the site updates itself without redeploying. News from 8 outlets is collected and assigned to each party automatically.
- Distribution. Custom domain, an @info29N account on X with a bot that posts updates, and a suggestion box so anyone can correct or contribute.
